Midnight Madness

What is it?
Commonly known as MidMad, Midnight Madness is a large-scale event for Durham County Explorers and Rangers, welcoming between 100 and 200 participants each year. Teams take on a challenging 16–18 km incident hike, tackling a range of exciting activities and challenges along the way to earn as many points as possible.
After a night of camping to recharge, the team with the highest score will be crowned this year’s champions and take home the coveted Midnight Madness trophy.
